DS-1305
Polyisobutenyl succinimide (PIB 1300), very high TBN
TBN minimum 130 and nitrogen up to 4.5 % — the most concentrated dispersant in the catalogue. Used where acid neutralisation reserve and soot capacity both have to come from one component.

Grades a formulator would benchmark DS-1305 against. Naming them is not a claim of equivalence — it is where to start the comparison.
Ashless Dispersants
Soot and sludge suspension in engine oils
Polyisobutenyl succinimides — a polar head that binds contaminant, an oil-soluble PIB tail that keeps it suspended. This is the largest additive class by volume in any crankcase formulation. Borated grades add antiwear and improve seal and thermal performance; higher-TBN grades carry more acid-neutralising reserve.
