PH-155

2,6-di-tert-butylphenol derivative

Solid hindered phenol with higher molecular weight than BHT, which buys lower volatility. Used where the fluid is expected to run hot enough that BHT would simply evaporate out of the formulation.

Phenolic Antioxidants

Primary low-to-mid temperature radical scavenger

Typical treat rate0.1 – 1.0 %

Hindered phenols built on the 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol motif. They donate a hydrogen atom to peroxy radicals and are the more cost-effective half of a paired antioxidant system below ~120 °C. Liquid grades matter for cold-blend and low-viscosity fluids where a solid will not dissolve without heat.

Documentation

A full technical data sheet, safety data sheet in the language of the receiving country, REACH status statement and SVHC declaration are issued with every enquiry for PH-155. Certificates of analysis accompany each consignment and retained samples are held for the full shelf life.
